Magnesium

Magnesium facilitates many intracellular functions within the body. About 99% of magnesium in the body is found in the bones, muscles, and non-muscular soft tissues. Muscle contraction and relaxation, neurotransmitter release, energy transfer, and normal neurological function is all dependent on magnesium. Magnesium also regulates heart rhythm, vascular tone, and bone formation.
